A third generation portrait artist, Pressly began making photographs at the age of eight. After a liberal arts degree in English and an associates in photography, she had on the job training for four years in New York City, NY with some of the world's most talented and successful photographers in the celebrity and commercial realm.

9/11/01 changed a lot of people, and Pressly was one of them, as she was an eyewitness of the events that day in lower Manhattan. In 2002, she moved home to South Carolina to begin anew. Since that time, marriage and family are the focus of her life. The family of three moved to Bluffton, SC in 2007. Pressly and her husband Pierce Giltner, a known artist too, have an art gallery, " The Gallery Without Walls," on Calhoun Street in Bluffton. The move to their beloved new home precipitated a renewal of creative synergy for the artists and their careers are flourishing and blossoming in the low country. Pressly focuses on portraits and note cards, and eagerly accepts other types of assignments as well. Pierce Giltner is an outsider artist, and his work is online at http://www.cedarstacker.com.

Presently, Pressly is earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  By 2019, she will be a Registered Nurse as well as a professional photographer, and not to mention, a Realtor with Premier Island Properties of Hilton Head Island, SC.
